For the public website, free teardown requests, and project enquiries, the data controller is Malamas Devs. The main contact for privacy questions is info@malamasdevs.com.

Only the information we need to reply or review your product.

When you contact Malamas Devs, we collect the details you submit in the intake form, including your name, email, project summary, timeline, and budget.

When you request a free teardown, we collect your email, app URL, and any notes you choose to send so we can review the product and reply.

We also process limited technical information such as hashed IP or timing signals to reduce spam and abuse.

To respond, protect the site, and run the business side properly.

We use submitted information to review projects, reply to enquiries, recommend the right service, and follow up when you ask for it. The legal basis is usually steps taken at your request before entering a contract, or our legitimate interest in running the studio and replying to relevant enquiries.

We use technical signals such as hashed IP data and usage logs to rate-limit forms, reduce spam, and keep the site reliable. The legal basis there is our legitimate interest in security and abuse prevention.

Optional analytics are used only if they are enabled in our environment and only after you consent.

If live chat is enabled, Tawk may process basic visitor and session information so we can answer messages and support inbound enquiries. For EU visitors, the chat widget waits for consent before chat cookies or storage are set.

A few third parties help us operate the site.

We may use infrastructure and communication providers such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, and live chat vendors when they are needed to run the site or respond to enquiries.

At the moment, the main categories are hosting, email delivery through Resend, optional analytics through Google, and live chat through Tawk when that tool is enabled.

Some providers may process data outside your country or outside the EEA. When that happens, we rely on the provider's contractual and legal safeguards.

We do not sell personal information or submit your project details to data brokers.

We do not use your intake, teardown request, or project details as public marketing material without your permission.

We keep information only as long as it is reasonably useful.

Lead submissions and contact requests are kept for as long as needed to reply, follow up on related work, and maintain a reasonable business record.

Technical abuse-prevention logs may be stored separately from contact details. We keep them only for as long as they are useful for product protection, operations, or legal compliance.

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data.

Depending on where you are, you may have rights to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict processing, object to processing, or ask for portability.
